The Outpatient Pharmacy Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing retail pharmacy 3rd party accounts receivable reconciliation. This will include but is not limited to: pursing collection activities, assisting with preparing monthly statements, invoicing and managing bankruptcy notices. This position will be the primary point person for the A/R system providing the necessary reports and processing of claims to reconcile pharmacy claims to 3rd party payments. This includes alerting management of trends with incorrect reimbursements, unfavorable contract terms, and contract provisions affecting pharmacy reimbursement. Additionally, this position will participate in routine pharmacy compliance audits and internal monitoring focusing on compliance and proper documentation.
Pediatric Trauma Registrar Pediatric Trauma Program 72955
A vital and integral part of the trauma team, the Pediatric Trauma Registrar will be responsible for the collection and analysis of data from the patient medical record as well as the high-quality, detailed abstraction of this this data into the Trauma Registry. Additionally, the registrar will generate reports as needed by the department, hospital and American College of Surgeons to be used to assess patient outcomes as well as for research purposes. The Trauma Registrar is also responsible for downloading data for submission to the to the American College of Surgeons Quality program and the New York State Department of Health. This position will work closely with the Pediatric Trauma team, the Department of Pediatric Surgery and the Department of Nursing.
