Part Time (0.7) Evenings, every other weekend and holiday rotation, per bargaining unit agreement. 5E, the Transitional Care Unit (TCU), located at the Community Campus, is a 20 bed, hospital based, short-term, sub-acute, skilled nursing unit that opened in 2014. All of our patients are admitted directly from the Upstate University acute care units. We provide services to patients that no longer require acute care, but continue to need specialized medical, nursing and other hospital ancillary services and are not yet ready for discharge.
