Job Summary: We are seeking a nationally certified FNP for a shared position between Upstate University Hospital (UUH) and the College of Nursing (CON). The applicant should have appropriate knowledge and skills in the area of underserved populations in addition to prior faculty experience at an academic health center. The role will serve in the UUH 50% time to provide clinical practice, real time feedback to inform curricula, provide information to the clinical success specialist in terms of FNP students with cultural, practice or life challenges that require intervention. The role will service the College of Nursing 50% of time in instructional support to the FNP program. The faculty will work collaboratively with all other grant positions in simulation, interprofessional care of patients, academics, cultural competency application of learning in the partner sites and management of Typhon clinical log records. 
Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered RN, NP required with at least three years of recent work experience as a Nurse Practitioner required. Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner and current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice also required. Current CPR Certification required. Current primary care clinical experience as well as teaching and curriculum development required. DNP or PhD preferred. Prior faculty experience at an academic health center preferred. *Candidates may be considered at a different title and salary based on qualifications.
