Job Summary: The Department of Physical Therapy Education at Upstate Medical University invites applications from qualified candidates to join our faculty in a full-time, 12-month, tenure line position. Tenure track faculty member responsible for advancing a personal research agenda, teaching in relevant content areas, and service. Teaching responsibility will include course development and instruction of didactic courses in area of applicant's expertise. Research activity will include developing a rigorous line of research, pursuit of funding, dissemination of research findings, and student mentorship. Department, college, university, and professional service consistent with the mission of Upstate Medical University is expected as well as other activities as assigned by the Department Chair. 
Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed physical therapist (or eligible) and academic doctorate degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, etc.) with clinical and teaching expertise in exercise prescription required. 

*Candidates will be considered at a commensurate title/salary based on experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Established scholarly agenda, proven track record of excellence in an academic position, expertise in geriatrics, ABPTS board certification, and professional leadership experience preferred.
