Job Summary:

The Work-study will professionally represent M.A.S.I & ODEI and articulate its mission, goals, and resources. Candidates should possess the ability to:

- Support the development, promotion and execution of M.A.S.I programs, resources and educational opportunities.

- Propose, develop and implement event(s) in their focus area for the spring semester.

- Support preparation, implementation and/or analysis of relevant assessments, which includes programming assessments and/or campus climate assessments

- Assist with website and social media and other communication - Other duties as needed; opportunities to work on projects of interest

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a current student enrolled at Upstate Medical University and approved for financial aid through the Student Financial Aid office at Upstate.              

Preferred Qualifications:

- Communicate effectively (in written and verbal) with a wide range of diverse individuals of varying abilities, cultures, ages, and ethnic backgrounds.

- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, cultural competencies, and sensibilities to work

 $12.50 per hour
