Job Summary:

Research:
Carry out high quality original research in cancer survivor and survivorship support and maintain a good publication record in peer-reviewed journals. Endeavor on a continuing basis to fund that research by generating support from extramural granting agencies. Develop Cancer for Health and Digital Technology as a cross-disciplinary research group to facilitate interventional research across the SUNY schools.

Teaching:
Offer clear and effective instruction within your expertise to students in the Colleges of Medicine and Graduate Studies and serve as preceptor/mentor for house staff. It is our expectation that all faculty participate in teaching, both within their Department and in multidisciplinary courses in the College of Medicine. Incumbent will be assigned, by the department chair, to participate in these courses as a lecturer or small group leader/participant as part of the professional obligation.

Service:
Participate in governance, curriculum development, administration and medical service group meetings as well as other forms of academic service, by serving on departmental, institutional and professional committees as appointed or elected. Develop programs, initiative and partnerships to improve the conduct of clinical research. Support of and contribution to cancer center grants.

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD; Research experience; Record of successful grant applications
