Job Summary: The Project Staff Associate will be responsible for efficient bookkeeping and finance who is willing to learn new skills related to administration of a busy Clinical Trial Portfolio. Experience in supervising and training other team members. Regular interactions with the Institutions business offices. Responsible for scheduling and coordinating team meetings and team member vacations/days off. Developing and managing clinical trial budgets with support from the Clinical Trials Office and Principal Investigator. Preparing and submitting invoices, tracking payments received, and reconciling individual study budgets on a monthly basis and at study completion. Preparing purchase orders, and arranging for payments for goods and services needed for the day to day management of the Clinical Trial Activities. Assisting with calling and scheduling clinical trial participants, and supporting the various activities performed by the Clinical Research Associates during those scheduled visits. Assist with organizing, filing, copying and/or scanning of regulatory and patient specific documents as required for the clinical trial activities. Assist with scheduling of monitoring visits, audits, site assessment meetings and study initiation visits. Will prepare for and lead monthly budget meetings with the Principal Investigator, Co-Investigators and other key team members.  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience or Associates and 4 years of experience in finance or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in finance or related field. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience supervising and managing small teams.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience resolving minor staff conflicts preferred.
Work Days:

Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm (or 9 am to 5 pm); no weekends
