In accordance with the needs of the ages of the population served by Dual Diagnosis (DD) Unit, the Clinical Provider will provide clinical services, clinical supervision and case management for inpatient cases as specified by the DD Program Director; participate in promotion, supervising and evaluating of DD Unit staff; participate in programs of systematic research. Specifically:
· Participate in organizational and administrative aspects that involve the daily functioning of specific clinical needs within the DD Unit.
· Provide direct clinical services, clinical supervision and case management of inpatients including but not limited to: behavior treatment therapy, parent training, patient observation, daily meetings with other clinical staff for case management, and oversight of inpatient behavioral therapy with Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Medical Therapists involvement.
· Participate in the screening and admission of patients to the unit.
· Participate in research projects involving the assessment and treatment of behavior disorders.
· Participate in hiring, supervising and evaluating DD Unit staff.
· Provide supervision and training for DD unit pre-doctoral interns and post-doctoral fellows.
· Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director.
The individual will demonstrate the ability to appropriately aid the needs of children and adolescents with or without a developmental disability and their families. The individual will be able to address the needs of certain specific adults with disabilities on a case-by-case basis as determined by the physicians.
