Responsible for picking up and delivering laboratory specimens, reports and supplies, pharmaceuticals, medical/surgical equipment, medical records, and documents on assigned routes in a timely manner. Handles STAT pick-ups as requested. Assist in the laboratory with checking requisitions, perform specimen records for laboratory specimens using LIS and HIS for order accessioning, labeling, delivery, and report preparation. Will also answer phone calls and deliver samples for testing. Will assist with processing as needed. Complete other duties as assigned.

An Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires possession of a valid and clean NYS driver's license. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary; read, write, and speak English fluently; possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude. Ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

1-2 years with prior clinical lab experience

M-F 11pm-7:30am hours may vary weekends and holidays as needed
