Job Summary:

The Upstate Foundation Administrative Assistant will provide office support for several members of the development staff responsible for fundraising for Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital. Responsibilities include providing clerical and organizational support to departmental campaigns, projects and special events. Will be the point person for communicating with third party fundraising groups. Will coordinate materials and communications to retailers during their fundraising campaigns. Will manage event time lines, event registration spreadsheets, coordinate event volunteers, attend select events, coordinate calendar activities, schedule meetings and organize meeting materials, order supplies and track inventory, prepare tribute letters, and reports. Other duties as assigned.

Participation in other Upstate Foundation activities as requested.

 

Minimum Qualifications: Three years of secretarial/administrative experience or Associate's degree and one year of experience, or  equivalent combination of education and experience required.  Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills required, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Driver's license and transportation required.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Requires some weekends and evenings.
