Job Summary: Will provide first line support for clinical end-users, prioritize response, analyze and document all issues;  perform  daily rounds on  units and check with clinicians to address new issues; provide support on devices for end users utilizing established troubleshooting protocols; log trouble calls as needed to PC support or programming staff;  work closely with IMT to assist with creating user updates and electronic communications to advise on system changes or content as they occur; assist with training on an ad-hoc basis; assist with organizing and facilitating preparations for units scheduled to go live on system to include identifying current workflow, developing content requirements and facilitating changes; serve as liaison between inpatient units and IMT; document and provide input regarding user requested system changes and modifications;  work in collaboration with IMT  Security Coordinator to assist users with password resets and views; assist with testing of periodic software upgrades; participate in IMT/HIS departmental and project meetings; communicate system issues and status to Clinical Support Team Leader; and assist with development of associated new procedures and procedure manuals; and develop on-line help, system and user documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree in a health related field and a minimum of 2 years relevant healthcare related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent computer, written/oral communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills also required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience on an inpatient nursing unit. 

Work Days:

Rotating shifts plus weekend/holidays
