Job Summary: The Program Director (PD) for the Department of Respiratory Therapy Education is responsible for the Program, both academically and administratively. The PD manages Program faculty including hiring part-time faculty, participates in and provides oversight of student recruitment/admissions, provides leadership in the development of curricular revisions for contemporary practice, provides fiscal oversight, performs continual review and analysis, and reviews the overall effectiveness of the program. Teaches required and elective courses.  
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree from an accredited academic institution* required. Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; a minimum of four years experience as an RRT with at least two years in clinical respiratory care. Minimum of two years of academic experience teaching in an accredited Respiratory Care Program, either as an appointed faculty member or as a clinical preceptor. Member of AARC including Education Section required. 
*Accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education.
Candidates may be considered at a different title and salary based on qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:

NPS, ACCS, SDS or other specialty credential preferred.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday days with some weekends and evenings
