Job Summary: The Project Manager/Coordinator will be an integral team member of a team to execute an NIH-funded research study regarding sleep and post-stroke recovery. The PMC will work with the PD/PIs to ensure all administrative and logistical aspects of the project are properly executed, including adherence to time-sensitive and technical goals. This includes managing and coordinating IRB-related activities, liaising with Upstate University Hospital & Institute for Human Performance site coordinator/liaisons, and liaising by distance with study personnel at a second study site outside NY State. The PMC will collect and enter data for required progress reports, implement participant remuneration, work with team members to review and manage data within the SUNY Upstate system, and assist with UMU participant recruitment and data collection as needed. The PMC will also organize and document team meetings and assist PD/PIs with administrative duties.
Minimum Qualifications:

BS in health care, business or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience interacting with patients; Experience in health care setting; must have excellent organizational and communication (both written & verbal) skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of electronic medical records system; Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant preferred; Inpatient hospital experience; Project management experience; Experience working with human subjects, IRBs, and data analysis preferred. Supervisory experience also preferred.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, days; evenings and weekends possible depending on projects.
