Job Summary: The Evening Shift Supervisor for Laundry and Linen provides leadership for Laundry and Linen on the 2nd shift. Duties includes, but is not limited to loading and unloading of linen trucks and new linen orders ensuring performance for delivery and pick up of linen; weighing of soiled linen leaving dock; loading of meese bins with clean linen and delivering of clean linen; Oversee vendor billing to include reconciling bill with actual delivery and reconciling/approving vendor invoices. Order new linen to support demand and prevent shortages that affect patient care. Manages the workflow of direct staff daily to ensure all units are stocked and the department is clean. Communicates with nursing units and Nurse Managers for any and all issues pertaining to shift; Completes annual performance evaluations and performance programs for direct staff.  Primary shift will be evenings 3-11:30pm
Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree and 3 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Prior supervisory experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a hospital Laundry and Linen materials management environment strongly preferred. Strong computer, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills necessary.
