Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant to the Trauma Care Program is responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and performing a wide variety of administrative duties and support to the Trauma Program. Duties include but are not limited to managing calendars, scheduling meetings, attending program committee meetings to take attendance and complete minutes, coordination of CME, managing state and campus accounts, assistance with travel, assisting with the coordination of ATLS, coordinate catering, trauma center verification preparation and other administrative duties as needed. In addition, the administrative assistant serves as the primary point of operational contact for the internal and external customers and provides day to day support to the trauma program to ensure smooth day to day operations of activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree in related field and two years of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a healthcare environment.

Work Days:

M-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with occasional off-shift activities
