Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner will provide care to pediatric patients in the University Pediatric and Adolescent Center.  UPAC is an NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home.  In addition to primary care, other services include the ENHANCE clinic for foster care children, the Adolescent clinic, and Refugee care. The Nurse Practitioner exemplifies the Upstate mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Upstate policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:

Current NYS license/registration Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.  Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or as a Physician Assistant and current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice.   NPI number and Medicare Enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) OR eligibility for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire (eligibility criteria for Medicare Identification Number requires National Certification). If not currently certified, will be required to obtain within six months of initial employment. 

Current CPR required at the time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior Pediatric experience preferred.

Monday - Friday, Days
