Job Summary: Perform various hematology/chemistry automated, semi-automated and manual procedures as defined by the CP Core Lab procedure manual. Will assume responsibility as primary operator of hematology analyzers, equipment/method regarding troubleshooting, supply inventory, procedures, and training of staff in conjunction with supervisor/coordinator. Observe all safety regulations/practices. Analysis to include patient specimens, quality control specimens, proficiency challenges, etc. LIS duties to include filling patient results, entering patient demographics, enter workload data. Telephone duties include patient inquiries, calling panic values, and specimen requirements.  
Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Bachelor's degree of Science and 6 years of clinical laboratory experience focusing in Hematology and/or Chemistry required. Ability to distinguish colors required.

Monday - Friday, Days with rotating weekend and holidays
