The Data Governance Lead will collaboratively design and implement an enterprise-wide data governance framework and data-related project request intake process, which includes establishing and facilitating a multidisciplinary data governance committee; developing and overseeing the maintenance of an inventory of data resources; engaging regularly with data stewards across various domains; leading the advancement of the quality, value, accessibility, and alignment of enterprise data assets; and liaising with consumers of data throughout Upstate to ensure that data outputs meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating and managing project plans, defining project schedules, allocating resources, and monitoring progress, delivering and installing technology solutions, assist the project team with the design and development tasks, and lead the process of issue identification and resolution. The Data Governance Lead will align project objectives with company goals and ensure the project team is clear on the objectives, manage risk tracking process, monitor and manage the scope of the project, and manage all documentation.

Bachelor's degree and 3 years relevant project management and/or information systems experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must be self-directed with strong interpersonal, communication, analytic and computer skills.

Prior experience in project management, an academic healthcare environment and with data management software and tools preferred. Preferred Bachelor's degrees: Data Management, Information Technology, Marketing, Analytics or related fields.

Monday - Friday, Days 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and as needed.
