Job Summary: The Media Production Manager will manage the Media Production unit of Educational Communications IMT. Management includes supervisory responsibilities for one staff member, and oversight of all activities of the unit, including but not limited to production of media (video, audio, and graphic content) for all university entities issuing requests. Creative director of all media production activities. Coordination of technical maintenance of production equipment. Coordinate production of multimedia content for college courses, professional education, staff training, patient education and marketing. Operation of the television studio, recording and media streaming facilities. Coordination of media management systems, including internal (currently Kaltura) and public ­access systems (currently YouTube ).
Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree (or higher) in Media Production or another related field  and  (5) five years of experience in media production or a related field.                                                                                                                  Demonstrated experience as a writer, producer, director, videographer and editor.
Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Premiere or Avid Media Composer.
Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, After Effects or other graphics and compositing programs.
Experience with studio and remote lighting.
Experience working with tape-less video and digital film cameras and lenses.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Media Production or a related field.
Supervisory experience.
Experience working with Robotic Studio Cameras
Experience coordinating the technical maintenance of production equipment
Experience working with and managing a shared media management system (Avid NEXIS preferred but not required).
Knowledge of emerging video and media production trends and use of social media platforms.
Experience managing a television studio, recording, and media streaming facilities.
Experience as a creative director in a corporate, ad agency television, higher education or healthcare environment producing media for marketing, social media, training, or educational purposes.
Experience producing/staging/directing live streaming, studio and remote multi-camera productions
Experience managing a multidisciplinary production crew for live, multi-camera streaming events, live to tape remote and studio productions and field productions.
Experience managing a institutional social media account (Youtube) or an internal media server (Kaltura, Ensemble, ECHO 360, ETC)

Work Days:

Monday-Friday 8am to 5 pm
