Job Summary: Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, and the Licensed Practical Nurse, the CNA performs as a bedside care provider. Using detailed guidelines, standards, and procedures, and under the supervision of professional health care staff, observe individuals in care; perform prescribed simple treatment procedures; attend to the individuals Personal hygienic needs; and perform limited cleaning and housekeeping duties directly related to the care of patients or residents. Treatment tasks performed require only knowledge of a limited number of specific treatment procedures performed at the treatment facility.
Minimum Qualifications:

Meets NYS Civil Service appointment requirements for the title of Certified Nursing Assistant. Must have CNA certification and registration as outlined by NYS. Must have current CPR certification.

Work Days:

Full-time (1.0), Evenings, Every other weekend, holidays per bargaining unit agreement
