In addition to the variety of surgical patients that we care for, we also have medical overflow patients admitted to our unit. 11E is well known for our high ADT (Admission, Discharge, and Transfer) rate, resulting in an incredibly fast-paced environment. We also frequently assist with, and monitor sedation for, a variety of procedures, including but not limited to PICC line insertion, and burn dressing changes.
