Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Department of Pharmacy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, composing and preparing correspondence, reports, forms and other documents accurately, in proper form and with a professional appearance, scheduling appointments and meetings, maintaining various calendars, coordinating travel and reimbursements, onboarding new employees, overseeing needs of the residency program and visiting pharmacy students throughout the year and taking meeting minutes as requested. The Administrative Assistant also orders/stocks department supplies, distributes mail, maintains office equipment, processes work orders, and assists with policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree and two years relevant administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent written/oral communication, organizational and computer skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a medical practice setting preferred.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday, Days
