Job Summary:

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive financial, administrative, and clerical support to the Neuroscience & Physiology Department. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The Administrative Coordinator will manage financial accounts, maintain records and databases, provide help with human resource management functions, offer general administrative support and assist with various departmental activities to ensure smooth and effective operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a related field, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have demonstrated the ability to focus on details with accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities. Requires organizational, written/oral communication and computer (proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and Word) skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years of relevant experience. Bachelors degree in STEM, Accounting, Management, or web design. Administrative experience in an academic setting. Experience working in a research lab (not course work). Exposure to bookkeeping or accounting. Advanced Excel skills.

Work Days:

Weekdays and as needed
