Job Summary:

The Administrative Nursing Supervisor will represent Hospital Administration in directing and coordinating administrative, clinical, personnel, and operational activities.  They coordinate patient flow throughout the organization in order to meet patient care needs and maximize bed resources.  They provide direction in the decision-making process in difficult and non-routine situations; promote collaboration amongst the patient care team and foster professional development;  serve as a resource regarding clinical, administrative, human resource/management and development, and operational issues; and efficiently utilize resources while being fiscally responsible.

Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered RN (or eligible), Bachelor's degree in Nursing, minimum of five years post licensure RN nursing experience in an acute care setting to include leadership experience, plus excellent written/oral communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills required. CPR-BLS certification required by time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree preferred.

Work Days:

Nights with rotating weekends and holidays
