Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Associate COO for Community Hospital, the Assistant Director for Operations and Support Services is responsible for the day-to-day operations and planning for Community Hospital and its affiliated outpatient care areas. Emphasis on further defining and executing the vision for Community Hospital. Collaborating with Facilities and Planning, the Assistant Director is responsible for the prioritization and coordination of space planning and capital projects at Community, and how they impact operations. Also responsible for the coordination of performance for Environmental Services, Physical Plant, Design and Construction, Planning, Parking, Materials Management, and Nutritional Services, in concert with department directors.

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Nursing or related health care field required. Minimum 3 years of related experience in a health care or industrial operations setting required. Prior supervisory experience required. Demonstrated leadership, communication, analytical and written/oral communication skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in an academic medical center or teaching hospital preferred. Experience in the public sector and in a unionized environment are preferred.

Monday-Friday, days
