Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Quality for Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR) provides department-wide leadership and oversight for quality improvement, performance measurement, and outcomes management across PM&R services. Working collaboratively with departmental leadership, this role fosters an interdisciplinary approach to quality improvement, research translation, and evidence-based practice while ensuring alignment with institutional standards, regulatory requirements, and continuous learning. Supervises and provides leadership to PPS coordinator, Rehab Therapy Quality Coordinator, Rehab Therapy Documentation System Coordinator.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and computer skills required. Must be able to work effectively with all levels of the organization

Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered (or eligible) Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Registered Nurse with a master's degree (or higher) in the applicable clinical or professional discipline (e.g., MS/MA for SLP, MOT/MSOT for OT, DPT/MPT for PT, or MSN for R.N.), and five (5) years of relevant healthcare experience to include experience with quality clinical databases, data analysis, and quality improvement initiatives or related required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of PM&R services, Lean Six Sigma, CPHQ preferred. MPH or MHA is preferred.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday, days
