Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be expected to attract substantial extramural funding in population-level cancer research. The candidate should have leadership potential, and should be a candidate to lead a lab, division, or research program. Candidates with substantial leadership experience will be considered for the additional role of Population Health Program Director within the Upstate Cancer Center.
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in public health or a closely-related science (social or behavioral sciences preferred). Demonstrated history of funding in cancer research, within any of the following domains: Public Health, Population Health, Epidemiology, Social Science, Behavioral Health, Health Communication
Preferred Qualifications:
Current funding with a major grant award (R01 or similar) in cancer prevention, cancer-related health communication, cancer-related health behavior, cancer epidemiology, cancer disparities, or a closely related area.
