Job Summary:

- Opportunity to join an expanding new program in a new state of the art building opening Spring 2023.
- The Departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Upstate seek a full-time board certified, or board-eligible, physician in Internal Medicine Pediatrics with an interest in Complex Care.
This position is available to start on or about 7/1/23 until the position is filled. This faculty member will be an integral member of both the outpatient pediatrics division, as well as the outpatient internal medicine division where they will supervise residents in their continuity clinics. In addition, this faculty member will become an integral member of our outpatient Pediatric to Adult Transition Clinic for Complex Health care needs (PATCCH), seeing their own complex care patients, ages 16 and above, including, but not limited to, diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, sickle cell anemia, cystic fibrosis, congenital heart disease, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The division offers support for additional professional growth within an individuals interests. The time spent between the two departments is negotiable. Competitive salary and benefits available.
Responsibilities include: Precepting and supervision of Medicine and Pediatrics residents, supervising medical students, participating in teaching activities, and maintaining your own patient panel in complex care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must possess an MD or DO (or equivalent) and have completed a Med-Peds residency, and board certified or eligible.
