Job Summary:
The Clinical Nursing Education Instructor teaches and supports clinical orientation programs, ongoing specialty, and general education. Assists in maintaining competency, program, and class participant records. This role supports the instruction/teaching and facilitation of classes that do not require an RN license. Courses that can be included in this are CPR, CPI, Safe Patient Handling, Basic Care Orientation, etc. This role will also stock, maintain, and move education supplies and equipment. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree with five years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience is required. Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal and PC skills are required. CPR-BLS certification required by time of appointment. Demonstrates problem-solving ability to recognize and analyze needs & propose solutions to address concerns.
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal or informal teaching experience preferred.
Work Days:
M-F 7:00-3:30 with flexible hours based on department needs
