Job Summary: Serve as a Child Psychologist in an outpatient setting in the Department of Psychiatry and be a part of the Psychology Division of the Department of Psychiatry. The Psychologist will provide psychotherapy to patients and provide recommendations for treatment. Provide excellent care to patients as well as teaching and supervision of trainees rotating on assigned service. Participate in department administrative activities as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:

PhD or PsyD Clinical Psychologist, from APA-approved program; completion of  an APA-approved Clinical Psychology internship, NYS license or license eligible required. Serve as a Clinical Psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry as
assigned by the Chair. Looking for clinician to conduct group therapy programming on our adult inpatient unit. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Postdoctoral or other experience in inpatient psychiatric setting; some experience teaching and providing therapy supervision to trainees.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday daytime hours

L4: $75,303 - $120,627

Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. The salary range depicted is based on full time, 1.0 FTE and would be prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE.
