Job Summary:
- Collect, organize, and maintain patient information and clinical data for ongoing research projects.
- Assist in study design, protocol development, IRB submissions, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform data analysis and contribute to interpretation of results.
- Draft abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations for submission to peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Mentor and support medical students and residents involved in clinical research projects, providing guidance on methodology, data collection, and writing.
- Collaborate with faculty investigators and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely progress of research initiatives.
- Participate in departmental academic activities such as journal clubs, case conferences, and research meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree (or advanced postgraduate training in medicine or surgery).
- Strong interest in clinical research, academic medicine, and scholarly productivity.
- Prior experience in research, biostatistics, or scientific writing preferred but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for working with students, residents, and faculty.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, STATA, SAS) is desirable.
