Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager of Compensation and Classification, the Compensation and Classification Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development, design, implementation and administration of the organization's compensation and classification for the State and Research Foundation employment groups. Will be responsible for handling or assisting with coordination and completion of a high volume and assortment of compensation and classification related requests. Advise on the proper classification of positions, interpretation of job classifications and the application of compensation policies and procedures. Develop and review job descriptions, applying job evaluation techniques to determine the appropriate job classification.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of professional HR experience required. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, customer service, communications, and analytical skills. Ability to work with sensitive information in a high volume, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Compensation and/or Classification area preferred. Advanced Excel skills preferred.

Monday-Friday, Day shift
