Job Summary:
Will perform standardized check-in/check-out procedures, including registration activities, discharge activities such as scheduling appointments, either in the current clinic or elsewhere, collection of co-pays or other appropriate patient payments. Coordinate patient arrival/provision of needed document to staff. Work with patients/providers/ insurance carriers, ensuring that all information is complete and appropriate for maximum reimbursement, minimal denials, and adherence to carrier rules. Works with various computer programs such as EPIC and Outlook for patient care needs and to facilitate carrier requirements for reimbursement. Other office duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
For consideration for this title, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
One year full-time clerical, secretarial or patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
Work Days:
Schedule based on a 40 hour work week. Monday-Friday Day shift, hours between 8:00am-6:00pm based on operational needs.
