Job Summary:

The department of Human Resources is seeking a highly detailed, oriented and customer focused professional with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills for an exciting Human Resources support role. This position reports to the Director of Compensation and Classification and plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s Compensation and Onboarding Services divisions.

The Human Resources Representative is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to departmental initiatives, with a primary focus on the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the organization’s salary and classification programs, as well as supporting the efficient and effective onboarding of new employees. This role requires a high level of accuracy, discretion, and responsiveness in a fast paced, service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process full-time equivalent (FTE) and other compensation-related transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain employee status reports, identify discrepancies, and assist with resolution in collaboration with other HR staff
  • Review personnel action forms and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain electronic personnel files using secure e-filing systems
  • Support adjunct faculty appointment processing, including data entry, credential verification, and coordination with relevant departments to ensure timely appointments and payments
  • Perform general Human Resources support functions as needed to support departmental operations and organizational goals

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required. Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, interpersonal and computer skills necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a Human Resources setting preferred.

Monday-Friday, days
