Job Summary:

Under general supervision, performs routine interventional radiology procedures and may have individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees, with the knowledge, intensity and responsibilities as specified on the attached Job Description/Performance Review. To identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age specific needs. Willingly performs other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license/registration or eligible (must obtain within 6 months of limited permit) and ARRT (must obtain within 1 year of appointment),
  • Needs a Limited Permit by time of appointment if NYS License/Registration hasn't be obtained yet.
  • CPR-BLS certification required at the time of appointment.
  • Registration certification for Contrast Injection required (must obtain within 3 months of appointment).
  • Candidates who possess an A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license or eligible, and no experience will be considered for appointment to an entry level (SL1) position.

Work Days:

Primary shift Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:30pm. "On-call" required as needed, after hours weekends and holidays.
