Job Summary:

Provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to patients under the supervision of a licensed medical practitioner or health professional. Works within their full scope of practice and ensures that high quality and safety is consistently delivered. Reviews and prepares patient charts prior to patient appointment. Performs various duties related to the patient appointment and medical record, such as vital signs, problems, medications, pharmacy and health history. Able to act as a liaison between patients, providers, office staff and outside contacts. Ensures smooth provider work-flow, solving problems and notifying staff and patients of provider delays. Capable of collecting samples from patients. Cleans and restocks rooms. Prepares patients as required. Capable of anticipating both provider and patient needs. Capable of sterilizing instruments, using proper sterilization procedures and equipment (e.g. autoclave). Adheres to practice policies and procedures. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Will monitor and manage all incoming clinical patient work queues as Work Queue Coordinator. Will have a percentage of FTE dedicated to work queues as determined by clinic management. Other clinical staff will assist coordinator, as need, based on volume. 

Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered LPN. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in an outpatient setting (specialty area) strongly preferred.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday Variable between 7 am and 7 pm

Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations.

A sign on bonus of $3,000 will be offered to the successful candidate - half to be paid after 90 days, and half to be paid after 6 months of satisfactory service.
