Job Summary:

This position is a floating position and will be responsible for floating to provide MOA coverage in the Pediatric Specialty Clinics, to include: The Center for Development, Behavior, and Genetics, Pediatric Surgery/ID, Pediatric GI, Pediatric Nephrology, Rheumatology, and Integrative Medicine.

Performs clinical, laboratory, and clerical support activities in inpatient areas of the hospital and in ambulatory services. Assists physicians and/or other hospital/medical personnel in providing patient care, preparing patients for procedures and examinations, recording vital patient data, performing standardized routine tests such as phlebotomy patient specimen collection, and processing, and functions as a patient safety companion or suicide watcher as assigned. Performs clerical activities such as greeting and directing patients, registration, accessioning tests, producing reports, answering telephones, gathering and entering data, check out, and scheduling appointments. Minimum Qualifications:

For consideration for this title, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

Either 1: One year of full-time experience performing clinical and clerical support activities in a health care setting.

Or 2: completion of a college, university, technical school or vocational school medical assistant program.

Work Days:

Schedule based on a 40 hour work week. Monday-Friday. Day Shift, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Located at Crouse Physicians Office Building.

Salary:  $39,215 + This title earns a geographical payment of $4,000 annually.
