Job Summary:

Perform duties of an MRI technologist.

Review and evaluate images to ensure satisfactory quality. Maintain clean examination room and equipment.

Communicate with patients requiring examination and procedures, and provide reassurance, as necessary.

Perform identification procedure by verbally confirming with the patient before beginning a procedure.

Register patients, enter orders, and track patients using the RIS. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.

Must be customer service oriented and maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Maintain the integrity of the MRI Zones

Screen all patients before they enter the Magnet room

Maintain current knowledge of all special and routine procedures in MRI

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Medical Radiography and License and Registration (ARRT) required. Two years experience as a Medical Radiology Technologist. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

Work Days:

Per Diem varies may include: daytime, evening and weekends
