Job Summary:

Prepares Compounds and dispenses medications for outpatient and ambulatory care use. Dispenses retail and specialty pharmacy related items. Provides information to health care practitioners to promote the rational use of medications. Provides drug monitoring service. Provides prescription medication counseling to patients as requested prior to discharge or time of dispensing. Participates in teaching programs for retail/specialty staff. Participates in all areas of dispensing, call center and clinic as needed or requested. 

Minimum Qualifications:

B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. and NYS Pharmacy license and registration (or eligible) with Immunization Privilege required. CPR certification required by time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three+ years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Work Days:

Rotating schedule between 12:30pm-11pm using a 7 on/7 off schedule
