Job Summary:

The Plant Utilities Engineer 3 performs various administrative duties such as data gathering, qualitative and quantitative analysis, projects, program development, and coordination of duties in support of Physical Plant Assistant Director of Utilities for Physical Plant's plan, and direct and coordinate staff in the operation and maintenance of heat generating, air conditioning, HVAC and electrical equipment. The incumbent will also plan, direct and coordinate programs involving systems maintenance, health safety issues, and energy conservation. Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver's License.  

Minimum Qualifications:

New York State Department of Civil Service Eligible List or eligible for transfer.

To be eligible for provisional appointment, candidate must have served either:

One year as a permanent Plant Utilities Engineer 2

or

Two years as a permanent Plant Utilities Engineer 1.

Schedule based on 40 hour work week. Monday- Friday, 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM.
