Job Summary:

SUNY Upstate Cardiac Cath Lab is seeking a Registered Nurse, Evening shift.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Provide care for patients undergoing procedures in the department of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Endovascular Suite in the Heart & Vascular Center.
 
This includes, prep, procedure and recovery of these patients as well as on-call responsibilities for this care. Assists in clinical care for all patients as needed in the HVC.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent.

NYS RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years cardiac nursing experience (preferably in an ICU/critical care setting) required.

CPR-BLS Certification by time of appointment.

Must be able to handle physical aspects of patient care such as moving patients and equipment.

Must be able to participate in rotating on-call schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

Acute care experience in Cardiac Care.

ACLS certification preferred.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, Evenings
