Outpatient setting with responsibilities in working in multiple departments of Radiology.

These include, but not limited to:

• CT, MR, PET, US and other duties as assigned.
• Knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques, isolation techniques, IV skills.
• Able to give conscious sedations as directed by M.D. and monitor/evaluate patients overall response.
• Responsible for assessment of patients, able to work up patients pre and post operatively.
• Ability to work in CT and 3T MR scan rooms, assisting with IVs, biopsies, monitoring of contrast injections as well as assessing for contrast reactions.
• Will assist in PET Department with injections, and work with an anesthesia team to do pediatric sedation cases.
• Must follow nursing and office policies and NYS regulations and requirements.
• Will also assist in other areas of the department.

NYS licensed/registered RN. Prior experience in an outpatient setting (specialty area) strongly preferred. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required. ACLS recommended

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
