Job Summary:
Provides professional nursing care to patients/families and the community. Accomplishes this by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care and supervising the work of the licensed practical nurses, ancillary staff and students assigned to the unit
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in wound care, application of wound vac's, specialty wound dressings, and hyperbaric chamber experience preferred. ACLS and recent ICU experience required. WTA training, wound care certification, and/or hyperbaric certification preferred. Candidate will obtain CHRN within one year of hire/eligibility. Excellent communication and organizational skills needed.
Work Days:
Rotating day shifts with on call responsibilities
