Job Summary:

A Secretary II will be responsible to complete patient check-in and check-out. Greets patient checking demographic and insurance information. Makes additional appointments for patients as needed. Review needs for referrals or authorizations and obtains the necessary information in order to be processed. Obtains additional records, reports, x-rays, etc. as needed for providers
or other staff. Use of multiple computer systems and assist with mail distribution and other clerical/office tasks as assigned by leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of secretarial/clerical experience required. Ability to multi-task and strong customer service skills required.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Medical Data Base systems for patient registration and scheduling preferred. Previous Ambulatory experience preferred.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday, Days
