Job Summary:
The Senior Administrative Supervisor will represent Hospital Administration in directing and coordinating administrative, clinical, personnel, and operational activities. They coordinate patient flow throughout the organization in order to meet patient care needs and maximize bed resources. They provide direction in the decision-making process in difficult and non-routine situations; promote collaboration amongst the patient care team and foster professional development; serve as a resource regarding clinical, administrative, human resource/management and development, and operational issues; and efficiently utilize resources while being fiscally responsible. Manages the CC Administrative Supervisors and Float Pool SCAs including: human resource management of the dept, ongoing process improvements and quality initiatives, responsible for communication with leadership and ongoing staff development.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS licensed/registered RN (or eligible), Bachelor's degree in Nursing, minimum of five years supervisory experience. Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills required. CPR-BLS certification is required by the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current or recent experience as an Administrative Supervisor in an acute care setting.
Work Days:
Monday-Friday, with off shift weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
