Job Summary:

The Senior Clinical Specialty Pharmacist will provide input and help implement a strategic plan for Specialty Pharmacy. The Senior Clinical Specialty Pharmacist will help provide oversight of the Patient Management Program and will be a required member of the Specialty Pharmacy Quality Management Committee. Assist with the oversight of the day-to-day operations of Specialty Pharmacy services and staff. This relates to clinical activities, metric reporting, compliance and quality improvement projects for specialty pharmacy accreditation. This pharmacist will oversee program expansion, focus on developing relationships with clinic staff and specialty providers and help build third party payer and manufacturer relations. Participates in all areas of dispensing, call center and clinic as needed or requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D., NYS license/registration (or eligible) and five years of pharmacist experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred. Knowledge of EPIC preferred.

Work Days:

Rotating schedule between 8am-6pm. Weekends and holidays based on operational need.
