Job Summary:
The licensed clinical social worker will provide outpatient therapy to adults in the Psychiatry Faculty Practice (PFP) at Upstate Medical University's Department of Psychiatry. Responsibilities include providing individual DBT-based psychotherapy. We plan to expand the use of online AI technology to enhance psychotherapy where part of the treatment is computerized. We expect this person to become the expert here locally after training in this type of therapy modality and to engage in training and supervising others.
Minimum Qualifications:
New York State LCSW social worker from an accredited training program with a practice focus on adult psychiatric patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
Some experience or training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is preferred will train to expert level provider in DBT.
Work Days:
Monday thru Friday days
