Job Summary:
Prepare and maintain course outlines and objectives. Maintain all current necessary course documents. Prepare and coordinate clinical courses as assigned. Visit clinical setting on a regular basis to assess students clinical performance. Oversee student clinical evaluation process and discuss results with the student and Clinical Preceptors. Conference with the PD regarding student progress and programmatic needs. Participate in student recruitment and admission activities; participate in program's continuous self-assessment process and annual program review, revision of program policies, academic standards, and behavioral standards. Participate in faculty development workshops. Pursue continuing education in professional practice and instructional methodology. Maintain current knowledge of the discipline(s) and educational methodologies through continuing professional development.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS Dept. of Health license (or eligible) in Radiologic Technology current ARRT Certification in Radiography. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of current clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist. A minimum of 1 years of Interventional Radiology experience (i.e. Cardiac Catheterization lab, EP lab or general IR) Must have and maintain a valid NYS driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of current clinical experience. A minimum of 2 years Interventional Radiology experience (i.e. Cardiac Catheterization lab, EP lab or general IR). Additional modality experience (CT, MRI, US) or certification is desirable (ARDMS, ARRT CT, MR, CV, CI or CV)
Work Days:
Monday-Friday, various days and evenings hours in spring semester
