Job Summary:
Adjunct faculty needed to teach in clinical, laboratory and classroom settings. Selection based on applicant experience and background in specific area of need, which varies from semester to semester. May include laboratory instruction in basic techniques and critical care; instruction and certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); clinical instruction in pediatric and adult critical care settings and in the sleep laboratory; classroom instruction in a variety of topics related to respiratory care practice.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree; Respiratory Therapist credential and current NYS Respiratory Therapist License (or eligible) required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master degree completed or in progress; Neonatal and Pediatric Specialist (NPS), Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS), Certified Asthma Educator (AE-C), Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or other specialty credential preferred.
