Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Director of Transitional Care, Assistant Director of Transitional Care, Director of Social Work, Director of Case Management and the Assistant Director of Social Work. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, resolving day to day operational issues, responding to phone calls, opening and sorting daily correspondence, planning, organizing, and coordinating administrative duties, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and meeting minutes, preparing Human Resources paperwork for recruitment, and preparing travel arrangements. The Administrative Assistant will also coordinate information flow for all areas assigned to the Director of Transitional Care, assist in managing administrative policies, manage variance reporting for operational budget expenses, maintain statistical reports, databases, and spreadsheets, manage various projects related to the operative service needs of the department, and oversee the coordination, supervision, and completion of special projects and or events assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. A minimum of three years administrative experience (preferably in a healthcare environment) required. Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and computer skills required.
